These posters hang here in our lobby area. Each tell the story of hope, empowerment and the positive impact our partner Higher Power Automotive Ministries has on the lives of the most needy in our community. These individuals are some of the many who have been uplifted by their mission and we will continue our commitment to God's great work here with the help of you our Fix It Forward customer and the many incredible volunteers.

Matt is the President of both Fix It Forward Auto Care and Higher Power Automotive Ministries. A self-proclaimed “car guy”, Matt quit his day job of 15 years, as a Software Engineer at Microsoft, to run Higher Power Automotive Ministries full-time.
He recognized the limitations of Higher Power and how starting a shop would enable it to grow by providing more shop space, office space, and equipment. Working with an all-star team, Fix It Forward Auto Care was formed.
When not working at Higher Power or Fix It Forward, you can find him playing with old cars or spending time with his wife and four kids.

We are an automotive service center concept that is like no other. We were founded by the same people who founded and run Higher Power Automotive Ministries, a local non profit focused on solving transportation issues for the neediest people in our community. Higher Power is a completely volunteer run organization that does all its work at no charge, both repairing client autos and giving away donated cars.
While growing the non profit organization, many people were requesting to pay us to repair their vehicles because they wanted to support us and they knew they could trust us. We then recognized that by starting a shop that could do repairs for those that wanted to support us, it would enable the non profit to make an even bigger impact in our community. So Fix It Forward Auto Care was born.
